Projects Highlights

  • FE Modeling and Modal analysis of Automotive Exhaust system: Complete FE modeling of customer provided CAD part of exhaust assembly which includes sub-assemblies like catalytic converters, mufflers, manifold turbo etc. Modal analysis is carried out for the following reasons To check model integrity To check mode shapes within the given frequency range The respective results are noted and detailed report is prepared as per customer requirements.
  • Static road load analysis of exhaust system: FE of complete exhaust system is taken from the modal file. The system is subjected to gravity load in two separate load cases. In first load case the model is subjected to 1g load in vertical directions and in second load case the model is subjected to combined gravity loads in X, Y&Z directions. The stresses over the entire system and the reaction forces at the hanger locations are noted. The report is prepared for customer presentation.
  • Bending analysis of exhaust system parts: Bending analysis carried out on hangers, muffler inlet outlets. The component is subjected to 100N Z direction for hangers and 360-degree application on inlet and outlet assemblies. The stresses over the hanger and weld locations are noted. The report is prepared for customer presentation.
  • Thermal fatigue cycle of exhaust system: Steady state and transient analysis carried out on exhaust system by using the customer given thermal cycles to find the temperature distribution and carried out structural analysis to find the fatigue cycle of the components. The report is prepared for customer presentation.

Meshing Experience

  • Extensive experience in FE meshing for BIW structures, supporting durability and crash analysis.
  • Skilled in modeling complex BIW sub‑assemblies, including upper body, lower body, and door modules.
  • Proficient in meshing plastic components such as front and rear bumpers, instrument panels, and center consoles.
  • Hands‑on expertise in modeling detailed plastic parts including headlamp housings, sleeper cabin components, audio systems, grills, glove boxes, and more.
  • Strong capability in delivering high‑quality FE meshes that meet solver standards and project-specific quality criteria.
