  • Devised and instructed battle tactics for a 21-person team while deployed to Iraq. Collaborated with joint partners to facilitate effective contingency operations. Conducted training for over 20 members on vital deployment task.
  • Graduated from the first Security Forces Enterprise machine gun course to become a certified gunner aligning with new Security Forces wide doctrinal initiative on Weapons Flight employment. With his newly garnered skills,advised 28 peers on weapons platform employments which led to the validation of 3 Group METs during a combat training exercise.
  • As Fire Team Leader, During this period I supported three key leader engagements with the Office of Special Investigations where he acted as a personal security detail to seven Special Agents and a Two-Star Iraqi General. During this mission, he was able to capture active threat data and cemented counter-intelligence operations for Al Asad Air Base. Moreover, in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE, Airman Reyes led three peers on the Task Force Jester quick reaction force for which he and his team conquered 53 boundary line patrols and 187 random antiterrorism measures. His efforts enabled the security over 2.8 thousand Combined Joint Task Force personnel and international aircraft valued at 3.4 billion dollars. Lastly, Airman Reyes linked with the 724th Special Tactics Squadron and provided armed escort duty for a 14 day, 26.4 million dollar surface to air weapons study that boosted the Iraqi Army's capabilities to defend.
  • Contributed to the development of policies and procedures for the military police unit, incorporating best practices from other organizations as well as adapting to unique challenges faced on base.
  • Developed and maintained cooperative relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to support communication.
  • Performed over 10 explosive detection missions for top military leaders and government officials while coordinating efforts with various federal agencies and United States Secret Service.
  • Attained distinction as one of Air Force's inaugural handlers to complete United States Secret Service e-collar course, establishing advanced patrol and detection abilities off leash
