Accomplishments

  • Implemented the Hon’ble Directions of the Supreme Court by collection of compensation of Rs.20,000/- from a offending employer in Pudukkottai District and made her to study 6th to 12th STD from the interest Amount and filed cases against the offending employers.
  • With the earnest efforts of the leadership of the Candidate, a proposal was submitted by the District Collector to the Govt. of Tamil Nadu to announce Pudukkottai District as ‘Child Labour Free’.
  • A pioneering effort was taken with the leadership of the Candidate to select 40 rural youths from Ramanathapuram District, trained them through ETA Askon and placement was arranged to Dubai.
  • One of the best practices in Ramanathapram District under PVP is that convergence of services. All the Govt. Welfare Schemes were tapped to the Target Poor members through the painful initiation of the Candidate through the support of Ramanathapuram District Administration.
