• Teach IB PYP Music for Grades 3 to 6 through singing, listening, movement, and performance based activities.
• Support progression from Primary Music to Secondary Music learning aligned with IB MYP approaches.
• Prepare students for IGCSE Music readiness through performance skills, listening activities, and basic musical analysis.
• Teach general classroom Music using singing, listening, movement, and ensemble activities.
• Organize, plan, and lead school music events, assemblies, and performances.
• Support regular student participation in concerts and school performances across the academic year.
• Teach guitar classes and prepare students for external practical music examinations, including Trinity College London, TCL Rock and Pop, and RSL examinations.
• Lead and support small and medium ensembles, including vocal and instrumental groups.
• Maintain positive classroom management and a respectful learning environment.
• Assess student progress using observation, performance tasks, and feedback.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and performance readiness.
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to support school initiatives.
• Use Google Classroom and Google Workspace for lesson planning, assessment recording, and communication.
• Apply safeguarding procedures consistently to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
