• Hands on experience in Surface and subsea Gate valves and Chokes.
• Leads and supports project engineering, new product/technology development, product improvemenT and product standardization, and product qualification projects depending upon the assigned group.
• Serves as a technical point of contact for assigned work package scope, and may serve as a focal point for all communications related to scope.
• Develops product design, geometry standards documentation and product qualification requirements.
• Creates, reviews/approves part reports, drawings, engineering specifications and standards.
• Defines product quality, material, welding, and NDE requirements.
• Supports and manage project schedule and deliverables.
• Provides Management with technical assistance and work progress updates as requested.
• Mentors and provides technical guidance to Product Engineers and Designers/Drafters. Works collaboratively to accomplish project tasks. Provides independent review and approval of work packages.

• This is an individual contributor position. The role is responsible for executing activities assigned by the manager, and execute it with the assigned team.

• Hands on experience in API6D Ball valves, Globe valves, Cryogenic valves, Segmented valves and butterfly valves.
• Provide technical support for quotation and application team during quotation phase.
• Evaluate customer specifications to ensure selected product meets the requirements and determine feasibility of manufacturing by working with appropriate teams.
• Create and maintain engineering documents for engineered products, (i.e. manufacturing drawings, items, BOMs, specifications, etc.).
• Create and maintain technical documents for customer orders, (i.e. dimensional drawings/general assembly drawings, customer assembly drawings, calculations, etc.).
• Create “Engineering Change Notes” for special engineered products when needed.
• Provide technical support for factory which includes manufacturing, production, topworks and quality related issues.
• Works with senior engineers on engineering technical issues and production information, as needed.
• Actively participate in executing task schedules to ensure timely completion of all assigned duties.
• Participate in (Customer Order Engineering) COE development projects as needed.

· Hands on experience in API 6D, API 600, API 594, API 6A, BS 1873, BS 1868, API 599 standard Ball vales, Gate valves, Globe valves, Check valves, Plug valves from conception product research to development.

· Managed all phases of the design process of Industrial Valves for a multitude of products, components, parts, assemblies and Subassemblies, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerance, and prototyping and documenting results. Known for quality excellence and a “do-it-right-the-first-time” design standard.

· Assisted in the design and modification of the new mechanical products and technologies. Prepare BOM’s and Purchase requisitions for Valve components and perform engineering calculations.

· Assigned with the responsibilities of creating the Dimensional Drawings, Main Assembly Drawing, Part Drawings and the complete Bill of Materials for Industrial Valves.

· Handled the job of preparing, checking and correcting the complete Bill of Materials (BOM) of a valve before it is released.

· Solving problems in the shop floor by working closely with production people involved in fabrication, machining, assembly and testing areas.

· Involved in providing optimum design at minimum cost in order to be competitive in the market.

· Generating Simulation and Analysis report of the Model using “ANSYS” Software.

· Prepares documentation, information, and communications such as ECN (Engineering Change Note), Part reports, and engineering specifications and ensures conformance to all policies and procedures related to engineering functions.

· Consult with other departments on designs, anticipates potential problems and solve complex problems through creative thinking using internal and external resources.

· Interacting with customers and vendors to design and project aspects.

· Perform engineering calculations, developed design specifications and created flow diagrams.

· Prepared BOMs and purchase requisitions for system components.

· Prepared technical manuals and maintain project records.

· Created and modified existing drawings in AutoCAD, Solidworks and NX 12.
