My role involved managing end to end sales operations of the trading business which includes sourcing machines, handling their shipments, imports and customs clearance.

In addition, I was also responsible for managing 5 distribution centres and customer support teams which were spread across diverse geographies spanning India

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage customer satisfaction for existing customers by providing seamless support to the machines supplied
  • Relationship management with existing set of customers and partners (OEM Suppliers)
  • Renewal of support contracts and providing timely annual maintenance services through support staff, the maintenance services were provided in partnership with Cummins Inc
  • Establish the billing processes and cleanup of unbilled revenues and reimbursements from OEM suppliers.
  • Website redesign and clean-up of the offered products / machine inventory.
  • Manage import consignment from China to the customer’s factory location, end to end coordination.
