  • Developed a tool which measures the effectiveness of the catalogue promotions to estimate the weekly performance of promotions. The tool helped in deciding the best performing products to be retained in the catalogue and the ones to be removed
  • Created several reports to analyze the performance of different types of promotions for retail stores across the country
  • Helped a large retailer to validate its supplier’s cost price increase requests. Validation was done by analyzing the percentage composition of each ingredient of the product and the price movements of the ingredients for the past 10 years. An excel tool was built to automate the entire price increase validation process
  • Product assortment planning the goal of the project is to recommend the most suitable products to be ranged in the retail stores based on the performance of the products.

o The performance was measured by calculating a cumulative performance index (CPI) which was calculated using different metrics like sales, fifth margin etc which impacted the business most

o After proposing the range, capacity of products to be stored on the shelf in the store was calculated. Based on the capacity, the linear space required for each product was calculated
