Modelling and Evaluation of Multiplate Clutch:
The project dealt with analytical solutions of Von-Moises stress, Equivalent strain, Total deformation and Heat dissipation using Ansys, Solidworks and MATLAB for various composite materials (Ti-C, Carbon Fiber) as friction materials on a clutch. https://www.irjet.net/archives/V9/i8/IRJET-V9I8136.pdf
Two Stage Reduction Gearbox:
The research was associated with Design and manufacturing of a 2-stage reduction transmission system of 19.6N-m Torque powered by a 10.5 BHP petrol engine for a one-seater ATV of 175 kg. The gradeability achieved was 96.5%. The maximum speed achieved was 52.6kmph. This transmission system was designed structurally and thermally analyzed using Solidworks Altair Hypermesh. Later it went on for manufacturing using EN18 steel material for gearbox and Aluminum casing at our CNC facility and manufacturing lab facility at our college.
Student Social Responsibility:
We have taken up waste management as our social responsibility project and we ourselves as a team of six members collaboratively have taken great interest to bring a social change in the society. We have done it in Vishakhapatnam and created awareness in the village we visited. My role was to lead the team, collect statistics for the project and explain it to the people.
SAE BAJA:
Designed, manufactured and fabricated a ATV type racing car from scratch with a 10.5 bhp B&S engine and customized transmission for the BAJA SAE INDIA 2020 competition. • Captained a team of 25 members and was responsible for scheduling and maintenance of workflow between multiple sub-departments within the team. • Our team was lauded for having one of the most compact designs at the competition with over 110 teams taking part from all over India. • Procured materials from profound national vendors and administered the logistics and material planning. • Coordinated logistics and transportation of the ATV throughout the project duration.
