SAP Archiving:

• Acted as SPOC for SAP Archiving (AOA) across multiple modules: FI, MM, SD, PM, HR, etc. with market IT leads and global compliance offices.
• Implemented data archiving for modules like FI (Accounting Documents), MM (Material Documents), SD (Sales Orders/Deliveries) using transaction SARA.. This resulted in 60% reduction in database size and improved system performance.
• Configured content repositories and integrated SAP with external archive systems like DCMS / OpenText Archive Server. When a user accessed an archived invoice (ex :PDF attachments and scanned copies)
• Managed Print List Archiving, ensuring long-term availability and retrieval of spool data.
• Developed and executed Data Volume Management (DVM) plans in collaboration with BASIS and functional teams. Through regular monitoring, you helped reduce data growth by identifying top 10 tables and proposing archiving plans.
• Conducted Data Ratio Analysis to monitor data growth, archive opportunities, and system load using different transaction Taana. SE16H and VB excel automation.
• Executed SAP Housekeeping jobs clear temporary data like logs, temporary files, and unused entries, which improves system performance. (Clear old spool data and other tables)
