Two years Post-Doctoral Research Experience on developing functionalized mesoporous materials for biomass to bio-fuel conversion and also for carbon dioxide fixation reactions., Four years doctoral research experience in the area of Catalysis Division (heterogeneous) and Materials Chemistry that includes the design, synthesis and characterization of different macroporous and mesoporous polymers (polystyrene, polymelamine formaldehyde), Metal Organic Framework (MOF), mesoporous silica materials. Various metals are either incorporated or grafted onto the solid supports. Specifically, focused on:, Synthesis of various porous materials: Experiences in the area of design, synthesis and characterization of solid supported materials. Supports include polystyrene polymer, mesoporous polymer and mesoporous silica materials. Noble metals like Pd, Ru, Ag are either incorporated or grafted onto this solid supports. Other polymer supported catalysts using ligands like imidazole, Furfural, PAR4(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol have been prepared using metals like Cu, Fe, Co.
