Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understanding and analyzing the scope.
• Designing and Creating Test Cases
• Creating test data.
• Executing test cases.
• Assigning the task to the team members.
• Involved in functional and regression testing.
• Identify, research, report, track, and verify software defects proactively and comprehensively.
• Involvement in test reporting on a daily and weekly basis through the company-prescribed format.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Users, and Developers to coordinate project schedules and timelines.

Project Overview: The FRMS ACH process large volumes of credit and debit transactions in batches. ACH credit transfers are initiated by the payer and include payments such as direct deposits, payrolls, retail payments, and vendor payments.

• Performing deployment for the latest releases.
• Handling and resolving incidents.
• Performing maintenance activities, like data load.
• Periodic monitoring of application health and status reporting.
• Monitoring EOD and daily load jobs.
• Service maintenance and validation on the JMX Webapp.
• Splunk reporting and configuration management.

Project Overview: In 2010, the United States passed the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, FATCA. Under this act, the bank was bound to report to the IRS the details of financial accounts held by U.S. taxpayers.

• Involved in the integration testing of the newly developed functionality.
• Appointed module lead for the ST of impacted First Direct Bank modules.
• Created testing documents like Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Reports, etc.
• And giving walkthroughs, and participating in reviews.
• Raising and managing defects.
• Defect reporting and gathering test metrics.
• Working with application development and infrastructure teams to ensure the highest levels of service and system availability are attained.
• Coordinating, tracking, and communicating changes to applications or systems, and obtaining the necessary IT resources to ensure they are available before changes are implemented.
• Ensuring processes are followed in accordance with established procedures or standards.
• Taking a leadership role in identifying, documenting, testing, and implementing Production Control processes and procedures.
• Assessing and monitoring the operating environment for performance, capacity, and system availability, and making recommendations for changes as needed.

Project Overview: COSMIC system caters various business needs in the areas of investor services like trading of stocks which include selling and buying of shares on behalf of its clients, payments, taxation, asset services, stock lending, Forex services, automated trade capture, booking of derivative trades, intraday risk, cash account repository monitoring and dividends processing
