Temperature Based Fan Control (Mini Project)

  • A temperature sensor has been used to measure the temperature of the room and the speed of the fan is varied according to the room temperature. The duty cycle is varied from 0 to 100 to control the fan speed depending upon the room temperature, which is displayed on Liquid Crystal Display.

Underground cable fault detection (Main Project)

  • Underground cables have been widely used with the development of power system grid .Underground cables are prone to a wide variety of faults due to underground conditions, wear and tear, rodents. Detecting fault source is difficult because entire line is to be dug in order to check fault at cable line. The repairmen know exactly which part has fault and only that area is to be dug to detect the fault source. Thus it saves a lot of time, money and allows to service underground cable lines faster. The aim of this project is to determine the distance of underground cable fault from base station in Km.

Diploma Project

Clap switch 

  • A Clap Switch circuit uses a microphone within the circuit to detect noises to turn the LED on. A clap switch circuit can be used in homes and businesses to turn on things such as: lights, TVs, or whatever it is set up to the clap switch. In many cases you can snap your fingers, clap your hands, or even speak to it.
