  • Maintained accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress to ensure transparency and effective communication with parents.
  • Monitored students' academic, social, and emotional progress effectively during the pandemic of coronavirus by conducting online classes.
  • In order to curb the continuous trespassing on the school grounds by the residents around the school buildings in the evening after school hours, I took the initiative to build a boundary wall around the school campus.
  • To cultivate humility in students, morning assembly is of great importance in a school. We did not have a proper plain ground with fences. Playing games in the lunch break is important for the holistic development of children. Doing physical exercises or playing sports is as important as good books, teachers or studying for the overall development of a child. These tasks could not have been done without proper facilities such as grounds. If the playground is not properly done, the students could have had a fall where they could have had serious injuries while playing. So a construction of proper playground was undertaken for that purpose while I was serving as the HT of GPS Gahar.
  • Time had taken a toll on the building of the old washrooms in GPS Gahar. Undertook construction of new and better washrooms keeping in mind the hygiene standards for growing students.
  • Equipped the washrooms with proper water facilities.
  • To make learning more fun and educational for students, I partnered with an NGO on a personal level to paint the walls of the school with murals and fun colorful English alphabet and multiplication tables.
  • Construction of a stage was undertaken to encourage students to take part in the extracurricular activities. Another purpose of the stage was to recognize and award the efforts of students for exemplary performance in academics and extracurriculars. A huge purpose of that was to boost the confidence and morale of students.
  • As we are aware of the importance of discipline and order of ways in a student's as well as a teacher's life, a proper spacious office was setup instead of a congested one.
  • During my tenure as the HT of GPS Gahar, a middle school was established there. As there must have been an issue of funds or space for construction of new building for the Middle School, we accommodated the staffroom for their teachers and allocated a building for the students of Middle school. This is to emphasize that we did not just believe in imparting education but also teaching the moral values that one needs to learn in life. We did not only believe in serving our students but students, the future of our nation in general. This shared space for students resulted in a more cordial and amicable relationship between the students of the primary division and the middle school. This was a way of teaching them how to co-exist without bullying and dominating the weaker ones. This system which was adopted for a while not just taught things of utmost importance to students but also to us. The discussion of having a healthy work place environment as well as the cordial, respectful relationship between colleagues had been doing arounds in the work culture discussion. To share a space with others and co-exist together and being an individual simultaneously sharing a room but realizing our own duties and setting boundaries promoted a healthy work place environment. It made us a part of this new age discussion.
  • Initiated the process to get the land recognized legally by the government as part of the school.
  • Believes in going the extra mile to propagate the importance of education. In order to make it more interesting for students, addition of fun educational activities and games were a part of the school day.
  • Education is the foundation of our society, our tomorrow. For that I took my role of a teacher in a way where we nurtured the students for their holistic development as the future of our country.
