Tools Utilized: Net Inspect, DISCUS, Team Center

Description: This project involved in quality checking of aircraft interior components. A FAI Report, as per AS9102 standards, for a Part or Assembly is submitted in Net Inspect by the supplier with all applicable supporting documents required for the manufacturing or assembling the parts. The inspection procedure involves inspection of material, processes, dimensions and geometric features of the part as per the specified standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for physical quality checking of aircraft interior components as per the customer requirements.
• Verified dimensional correctness and GD&T features of the part as per the specified documents.
• Validated material used & process performed as per drawing & customer standards.
• Checking manufacturing process of various components from the work order provided by supplier.
• Ensuring that the part produced is inline with the standards specified by the end customer

This project involved in quality checking of FAIR Reports as per the specified standards. A FAI Report, as per AS9102 standards, for a Part or Assembly is submitted in Net Inspect by the supplier with all applicable supporting documents required for the manufacturing or assembling the parts. The inspection procedure involves inspection of material, processes, dimensions and geometric features of the part as per the specified standards.

• Reviewed FAI Report of detail part/Assembly is submitted in Net-Inspect by the supplier.
• Verified dimensional correctness and GD&T features of the part as per the specified documents.
• Validated material used & process performed as per drawing & customer standards.
• Checking manufacturing process of various components from the work order provided by supplier.
• Ensuring that the part produced is inline with the standards specified by the end customer (Bombardier Aerospace)
• Worked with more than 75 suppliers from USA, Canada, UK, and Japan.
• Participated in internal as well as external audits.
