• Break down maintenance, planned preventive maintenance and major overhauls, predictive maintenance and proactive maintenance.
• Planning estimating and indenting of spare and other consumable items for break down, preventive, predictive and major overhauls of equipments.
• Assist/ guide sub-ordinates for execution of maintenance activities.
• Development of indigenous drawing, OEM drawing, product development etc.
• Execution of contractual works, project work etc.
• Inventory control, indenting and inspection of material.
• Analysis complaints lodged by operation deptt and resolve the same.
• Approval of received material in store deptt.
• Implementation of energy conservation activities.
• Setting goal, objectives, and strategy to achieve zero breakdowns and zero accidents.
• Co-ordinates with operation, project, electrical, instrumentation, civil, store, purchase and personnel deptt.

Projects:-

For Vertical /Batch Digester pulp mill

• Erection and commissioning of 15 TPH drum chipper.
• Installation of Soft water tank for installing Mechanical seals in Gland packed pumps
• Participated in Mass balancing activities in Vertical digester Rayon grade pulp.
• Replacement of 2 Drum Washers at 17 mtr height with the help of Winch machine.
• Carried out hydro tests of Digesters and Heat Exchangers.
• Modify Various pumps from gland pack to Mechanical seal.
• Change the drive of brown stock washer Brass journal to bearing.

Projects ETP:-

Erection and commissioning of

• UASB (Upflow anaerobic sludge blanket)
• Tertiary treatment Plant
• Primary sludge Handling Bellemer Kuffrath machine,
• Secondary sludge handling ALFA LAVAL decanter machine.

Projects Pulp Mill & Its Machine:-

• Modification of steam and condensate system bucket type to psyphoning type at Machine Area.
