Cargo Flow

• Monitor and analyze CMA CGM booking levels in all Zone 1 & 2 (Indian) ports while considering all aspects of the vessel allocation (short leg, long leg, remain on board)
• For CMA CGM operating vessels, monitor partner forecasts and their loading lists to determine if long & short leg allocations & ROB guidelines are being respected by all partners loading.
• Coordination of empty planning with the Equipment Department to optimize all vessels by planning the maximum of full & empty containers to achieve 100% TEU allocation used.
• Proper control of CMA CGM operating vessels in order to utilize any unused partner space.
• Calculate the loading forecast for Zone 1 & 2 (Indian) ports based on customer & line knowledge, statistical analysis and cargo readiness information.
• Support Sales, Export Bookings and Export CS by responding to their queries regarding space approvals and questions about LISA/LARA routing solutions, transit times, and vessel schedules.
• Efficiently manage overbooked situations. Proactively provide clear breakdown of situation to Trade Manager and make suggestions to roll cargo far enough in advance.
• Communicate with HO Ops Planner and provide full vessel simulations to ensure potential load lists do not compromise vessel stability.
• Reporting duties. Review departure baplie files from the terminal after vessels leave each loading port and report the final loading figures on the forecast.

Operations

• Vessel Operations Oversight: Directed vessel operations, ensuring adherence to customs, immigration, and port health regulations for seamless berthing and sailing

EQC

• Staring of container activities for global locations
• Planning of Empty Repositioning: Monitoring overdue containers on PAN India basis. Evacuation of Idling containers for more than 7 days at local and 14 days at ICDs. Moving out long idling containers to Fulfil slot allocations in case of shortage of laden cargo.
• Understand Location wise equipment requirement: Monitoring requirements at location as per customers & cargo requirements to support business.
• Equipment Demand & supply based on type of containers.: Supply empties as per trade requirements. Support deficit location by supplying inventory from surplus locations.
• Container Leasing:liaising with leasing companies like BECON/TRITON/CAI/FLORENCE for smooth and timely onhire agreements.
• Container On Hire / Off hire activities: Monitoring onhire /offhire activities very closely enabling us to lease out containers timely without borne any additional rental.
• Vendor Management For Empty Depot & Terminal Activities Related To Storage Of Equipment: Managing contracts with depot , to reduce man hour and repair cost also evacuation of empties from terminal within free days to avoid any ground rent. Good co-ordination with transports to get evacuation on time.
• Container Repair & Maintenance:Managing depot vendors to get containers repaired on time . keeping estimate upload KPI for 4 days and repair KPI of 7 days.
• System Updation: Updating container movement in principal’s system on daily bases, principals include WAN HAI LINES, MILAHA, BLUE WATER LINES.
• Inventory Reporting: Tally inventory on weekly basis to ensure data on system matches the actual status. Daily inventory reporting to Principals and the Sales/CS team ensuring effective tracking the availability of equipment by location.
• Invoice preparation: Prepare the invoice for the damaged containers and proactively follow up with the consignee to ensure cost recovery.
• Follow-up: Follow-up with CFS or consignee to clear long stay import units, follow-up with CFS for long stay auction units.

• Export Operations Leadership: Spearheaded export container carting and stuffing processes, ensuring meticulous cargo allocation for FCL and LCL shipments to meet demanding schedules
