Project Client #1 : VWT (Netherlands)-FTTH

Volker Wessels Telecom is a total provider of telecom technology in Netherlands. It designs, implements, maintains and manages fixed, mobile and wireless networks. VWT Project deals with the registration of fiber and copper cable structures in a GIS and CRAMMER(NIM) And GEOS System. The protection duct structures Primary access network (PAN), Secondary access network (SAN) and Territory access network (TAN) with or without the guided tubes will be registered in detail on the Kable code (KC) sketches. The main concept of fiber, using of existing copper network build up fiber cables to customers by using of OAF, ODF devices. As a Telecom Engineer, I am responsible for:

· Production, QC and Delivery.

· Planning route from nearest Hand hole to client location provided in input with low cost.

· Placing of missing cable network and elements to match with the existing field network.

· Planning the routes at Greenfield and Brownfield.

· Planning and Designing networks for cables and very good knowledge about the system architecture

· Understating the Client requirements and planned the network to cover a greater number of customers to the service provider.

Project Client #2: Virgin Media UK-FTTX

Data Receipt from the client for respected Counties.

Customer provide existing addressable customer excel to the fielding team with the below process. Then we need to arrange the 1:1000 scale grid as per the required Market over the imported DWG copper DA boundary to be covered. Then create work boundary for the all total grids. By using same MAP 3D command (MAPIMPORT) to import the shape file (.Shp) Parcels Address numbers with the street as required for Pre-Land base inventory process

➢ For Planning and Designing of Underground and Pole network for geographic region according to the Customer Requirement

➢ Responsible for Quality Check of production files.

➢ Responsible for generating Layouts and Plot the Drawing file.

➢ Coordinating with Team leads for executing the work at initial stage. ➢ Coordinating with Quality Assurance team to ensure error free inspection and deliver the file to client without Escapes. Responsibilities:

➢ Analyzing the customer requirements and executing the Proof-of-Concept designs

➢ Defining the Point of Termination (POT), Point of Presence (POP) & Point of Connection (POC) Location and built the New FTTx Network. ➢ Study and analyze the inputs data received from client, this includes verify the raster images, customer house details, Land base, Area design specification field survey details etc.

➢ Planning and designing the proposing the new network, as per the guidelines of VIRGIN MEDIA UK guide lines

➢ Planning of underground and Pole networks by studying the area and analyzing the Man holes, Hand holes etc., by field and desktop survey / google maps

➢ Designing the underground and pole fiber network in AUTOCAD VIRGIN MEDIA UK guide lines.

➢ Quality check/quality analysis of the design drawings as per VIRGIN MEDIA UK guide lines.

➢ Preparation of basic List of materials (BLM) and SLD, Release Sheet, Fiber Allocation…. etc.

➢ Preparation of deliverables like final validation checks

➢ Co-ordinate with the clients for query resolution and feedback reports.

Project #3 : Tachus (Plan and Profile and also Basemaps) - UK

This project is completely based on P&P and permits. This is the prestigious and Technical depth involved Telecom project. I have been involved as a Team Member in the project.

The scope of work in this project is we need to control the traffic.

P&P means plan and profile design, In this we need to provide permit for telecom structures like poles, conduits, manholes, cables, brooks and Flower pot etc.

We need permit in USA(LA) Region, first we are given the planning in utilities and the details of conduits between the manholes. Based on that and also as per client requirement we will follow.

We draft a land base in AUTOCAD as per KMZ design as per given county specifications given by the client (Draft Pros).

Project #4 : Apple Maps (US & UK)

Project Description:

· Maps QA is a project for verifying production data captured by different vendors for client with given inputs. We will verify the geometry captured , Lane rule for roads and houses as per Specification. We will verify the data county wise and provide necessary feedback to client based on the errors marked.

Responsibilities:

· Detailed study of client requirement specification document.

· As per TODO base marking errors and revert back to the production vendors.

· Involved in QA and Meta QA.

Project #5 : GIS Project

Project Description:

The main objective of this project is to capture ROW (Right of ways) for the transmission lines to the areas provided by client.

Responsibilities:

· Detailed study of client requirement specification document.

· Captured right of ways and FOC as per the PDF provided by client.

Project #6 : VWT - Netherlands

· Study and Analyze the Input data received from client, this includes existing network situation maps, fiber and copper network design specification, Field survey details etc.

· We make a design plan as per the customer request which should be the best suited for the existing network.

· The network that is executed in the real world is registered in the corresponding GIS systems (GEOS FOW and Docs).

· Designed Work drawing with complete information of the network for field installation.

· Designing of cable code sheets, Las sheets and Las plans with updated information.
