Project Overview: Nestlé, the largest IT operations entity in the FMCG sector, is spearheading digital transformation on a grand scale. Nestlé collaborates with various corporate functions to provide IT products and solutions that are pivotal to digital transformation. In line with the 2020 enterprise IT strategy, MAN intends to undertake key initiatives, such as Digital Platform Transformation and Integration Platform Transformation. Nestlé employs advanced analytics to revolutionize data usage, capitalize on e-commerce to enhance customer service, and pursue 'Industry 4.0' advancements in supply chain and manufacturing. The project entails the development of Mule APIs for integration. Additionally, we offer support for applications in production, and have developed RAMLs featuring various resource paths and methods.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Designed and Developed APIs: Led the design and implementation of RESTful and SOAP APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, enabling seamless system integration and improved data accessibility.

Integration Solutions: Created integration flows to connect various enterprise applications, ensuring real-time data synchronization between Salesforce, SAP, and legacy systems.

API Management: Deployed and managed APIs in the Anypoint Platform, ensuring high availability and security compliance.

Data Transformation: Utilized DataWeave for data transformation and manipulation, optimizing data formats for API consumption, and facilitating data exchange between systems.

Deployment and Monitoring: Managed deployments using CI/CD pipelines, monitored application performance using Anypoint Monitoring, and conducted root cause analysis for troubleshooting.

Collaboration: Worked closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to gather requirements and refine project scope.

Performance Improvement: Achieved a 30% reduction in API response time by optimizing Mule applications and enhancing processing logic.

• Resolved customer issues by establishing workarounds and solutions to debug and create defect fixes.
• Worked closely with systems analysts, engineers and programmers to understand limitations, develop capabilities and resolve software problems.
• At Nestlé, we utilized a template to create APIs and proxies, which resulted in the automatic creation of a repository in Azure DevOps to store the API.
• Developed MuleSoft applications to integrate with existing systems and services.
• Created custom connectors for integration of third-party APIs into the system.
• Designed and implemented solutions using RAML, Dataweave, APIKit, Anypoint Connectors and other components of MuleSoft platform.
• Identified opportunities for process improvements to decrease in support calls.
