I played a key role in improving the performance of essential pages on Gartner.com, which resulted in better overall p75LCP and VCT metrics. My efforts to enhance application reliability significantly reduced P3 incidents in production. I established SLOs and error budgets for critical pages, ensuring the application consistently met these standards. I improved the observability of Gartner.com by developing and reporting KPIs and performance dashboards using Splunk and Dynatrace, which helped the leadership team better understand the site's performance. I implemented resiliency patterns such as timeouts, retries, and circuit breakers to enhance application resilience. I also identified and tested chaos scenarios and successfully led two gameday exercises for Gartner.com. Additionally, I was on call for addressing P1 production issues. I developed a comprehensive JMeter suite covering all critical APIs, along with an intuitive Splunk dashboard, to enable the development team to independently manage performance-related changes for responsiveness.
