Dividend Reconciliation

• Handling Incoming and Outgoing cash breaks.
• Resolving queries and handling ad-hoc requests received from different stakeholders such as Trading desk, agents, product control and claims team.
• Oversaw the reconciliation of complex financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, thus minimizing risks and ensuring optimal asset integrity.
• Also extended a helping hand towards other regions of Dividend Reconciliation process such as APAC and NAM region.
• Analyze and reconcile daily different type of dividends, such as, cash dividends, dividend options, dividend reinvestment, capital distribution.
• Check payment swifts (MT566) and post manual ledgers across all regions for multiple currencies like USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, NOK etc. to close internal positions.
• Worked with Corporate Actions Team to setup events by reviewing MT564/MT566/MT568 Swifts from various sources and rectify them for accurate data reporting.
• Dealing with traders and CP’s for correct validation of trade booking rates and resolving discrepancies. Chasing appropriate agent’s for compensation to be received on internal positions and any discrepancies in rates' currency and shares.
• Developed strong relationship with key departments and internal teams to facilitate resolution process, both internal and external.

Corporate Actions

• Manage and process mandatory corporate action events efficiently.
• Handling BAU on daily basis, tracking queries and prioritizing them as per importance of events.
• Responding and resolving email queries effectively by investigating the issues or discrepancies with sources and other processing teams.
• Event setup - Review MT564/MT568/MT566 swift from different sources and verify the same with the events.
• Text update - Monitoring all events setup and updating client text on regular basis.
• Alerts - Any pending activity under an event is highlighted under this activity.
• Identifying the root causes of any problems from various sources and query with them if required and finding the proper solutions.
• Work well under pressure and on high volume days.
• Responding to client enquiries and provide timely response.
