I count it an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to partner with parents to help build a faith that lasts a lifetime with their kids. I believe that the primary discipleship role of children belongs to their parents. I love God's design for the Church to come along side and help parents walk through all the highs and lows of parenting. Currently, I do this by meeting with parents in person or a phone call to help meet their needs, whatever they may be, by giving Biblical guidance, encouragement and prayer.
I am effective and considerate when working with a team. I value the thoughts and ideas of others that help to grow the Kingdom of God. I value collaboration amongst all areas of ministry to ensure that our staff families as well as the congregation are growing in their relationship with Jesus. All that I do revolves around relationship. Starting from my relationship with Jesus to my husband, my son and trickling out to those around me. I believe in order to have the most effective impact, we have to have a relationship. I desire to never stop growing and helping those around me grow as well. I believe as a leader, you are only as good as your team. The team I lead now, I speak into not only their personal growth but also the growth of our ministry together. I do this by praying with and for them, helping them navigate different conversations with families and volunteers as well as within their own families. Within my staff team, we have worked through books and continuing education classes together. This ensures that we never become stagnant in our ministry. One of my greatest joys is watching God grow the people around me as they step out of their comfort zones.
