• I successfully implemented a Single Piece Flow project that significantly reduced inventory of brushes from 150,000 pieces to 10,000 pieces per month, freeing up 30 square feet of space for other uses. Additionally, I reduced the Days of Inventory (DOI) from 6 days to 0.4 days, improving overall efficiency and space utilization.
• I led a SMED project in the Extrusion Department focused on die changeover, where I conducted a video analysis to identify and define internal and external activities. By utilizing advanced tools for die bolt fitting, I successfully reduced the changeover time from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, significantly improving operational efficiency.
• We conducted a 5S Kaizen event, performing a red tag activity to identify machine abnormalities and for sorting of unnecessary things.Implementing standard marking and labeling, creating a shadow board for the tool trolley, improving workplace safety, and enhancing visualization across the plant.
