Project Experience

• Project entitled “Solid Waste Management in Karur Town- A geographical Approach, Tamil Nadu” the study includes environmental characteristics of the study area. Project completed for Post Graduation Degree under the guidance of Dr. K. Kumaraswamy, Reader in Dept. of Geography, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli-24.

• Submitted a Workshop Report of “Resource Mapping with GIS” to the Department of Geography, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli 620 024. Experience gained in Auto CAD, Arc Info 7.2.1 and Arc View during the workshop.

• Experience gained in “Land use and Land Cover Classification Using Remote Sensing and GIS (LISS- III and PAN merged image) in Maheshwaram Watershed, Rengareddy District, AP” along with good expertise in GIS & Remote Sensing in NRSA, Hyderabad.

• Completed Ph.D thesis entitled “Evaluation of Surface and Groundwater resources of Amaravathy Basin, Tamil Nadu, India Using Geographical Information System”. under the guidance of Dr. A. Ganesh, professor & Head, Department of Geography, School of Geosciences, Bharathidsasan university, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu- 620 024.
