• I have actively consulted with Decathlon, a renowned brand, to assist them in sourcing their raw materials from recycled plastics such as rPET, rH/LDPE, rPP, rPS, PCR plastics, fabrics, and other sustainable materials. This collaboration is part of their Eco-design by 2026 initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable sourcing and eco-friendly practices.
• I have been involved in sustainable fashion projects, specifically focusing on PCR plastics for a top brand in Valencia. Through plug and play methodologies, I have contributed to the development of a supply chain for sustainably sourced recyclable materials.
• I have mentored and advised an Indian brand in establishing a supply chain for sustainable fashion and other utility products, emphasizing the use of recyclable materials from reliable sources. This includes fostering collaborations with indigenous communities and promoting sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.
• I have also delved into the field of additive manufacturing, where I have successfully transformed recycled plastics into granules suitable for 3D printing. This has allowed for the creation of products that align with corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, focusing on gifting items produced from recycled plastics as part of a broader sustainability commitment.
• Other portfolio experiences: In addition to my extensive work in plastics recycling and sustainable sourcing, I have collaborated with various industrial stakeholders to ensure their compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations for plastics, e-waste, and batteries. This involvement has included providing guidance and support to help organizations fulfil their environmental responsibilities and establish effective waste management practices.
• Beyond recycling and waste management, I have expertise in biomedical waste treatment, playing an instrumental role in implementing effective strategies for the safe and sustainable disposal of biomedical waste materials. Furthermore, under my self-initiated movement called TREE (True Restoration of Environment and Ecosystem along with Grassroute), I have actively contributed to ecosystem restoration projects, promoting environmental sustainability and raising awareness about the importance of preserving our natural resources.
