Handling 6 customer accounts as an Engineering Manager in UC, Telecom and VoIP domains to carry out below Account Management functions:

Project Management

• Develop comprehensive project plans and track project health periodically
• Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Assist in definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

Client Relationship Management

• Main business point of contact for clients
• Establish and manage relationship with client and relevant stakeholders

Delivery Management

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks

Escalation Management

• Client’s escalation point of contact for delivery, people and cost concerns
• Report and escalate internal critical issues to management as needed

Team Building & Resource Management

• Managing staff of 70+ in 6 accounts that include 2 direct reporting associate managers, 20 leads and around 50+ junior engineers
• Hiring talent for accounts and reserved pool for future prospects
• Coordinate internal resources for flawless execution of multiple projects
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Delegate project tasks based on members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
• Create back-up managers and leads to handle certain account management functions for some accounts

Performance Management

• Measure project & people performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Timely completion of performance assessment and salary revision of staff engineers

Project Finance Management

• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Increased total account revenue from around 1.8 m USD to around 2.5 m USD in 9 months

• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
• Prepare technology offerings highlighting employer's competency in specialized domains such as Unified Communication, VoIP, Telecom and pitching to potential customers

• Handled 2 UC & Telecom accounts including hands-on execution in one of them.

• Technical lead of team 12 QA engineers validating features of telecom SBC and Class4 switch
• Sustenance R&D Team Lead to work on field issues providing quick turnaround to customer through hot patches

• Performed Functional, regression, performance and upgrade/rollback testing of Telecom Class4 Switch and SBC products

Product: OSS/BSS Applications

• Integration, User Acceptance and End-To-End testing of telecom OSS/BSS applications
• Established myself as Team Lead Led of 16 offshore engineers of different experience and skill sets for product releases in 2010 and 2011
• Performed Effort Estimation, Status Reporting and Test Metrics preparation for multiple releases
• Effectively handled of support calls involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams for quick resolution of IST/JST, UAT issues
• Trained team of 25 engineers on End-to-End OSS/BSS flow covering contracts, ordering, provisioning and billing

Product: Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems

• Performed Functional, GUI, Installation, Hardware and High Availability testing of Network IPS and IDS
• Contributed in test planning, test case writing and test reviews for IPS and IDS functionalities
• Participated in development and maintenance of network device lab
