• QTR audit (Quality Technical Requirement) at supplier which are yet to nominate. Audit is done at minimum three suppliers to assess who is best suitable from quality point of view for nomination.
• 2DP audit (2-day production) to ensure if supplier is capable of delivering the number of parts agreed during project with quality & quantity.
• TRL audit (Technical Review List) is the audit done with short notice to ensure actions given by supplier is full proof or not. Failure to clear TRL, results into supplier escalation as per group guideline.
• Monitoring supplier performance through LD (line disruption), PPM, and Vehicle Audit trend.
• Involvement in Systematic analysis of part failure using quality tools like cause & effect diagram, pareto analysis, why-why analysis…etc.
• Conducting regular meetings with supplier in cubing & meisterbock to stay within audit target.
• Involving in continuous improvement of part quality.
• Knowledge of injection molding tools, HMP tools as well as tools related to NVH components.
• Continuous focus on tool maintenance so as to avoid deterioration of part quality. (to avoid GRAT audit defect)
• Monitoring preventive & corrective maintenance for Tools as per production schedules.
• Involvement through CFT in identified cost saving measures & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in terms of product cost.
• Timely implementation of VAVE ideas so as to maximize saving potential.
