As an Associate Software Engineer in the Linux domain at Capgemini, I specialize in Linux maintenance engineering and platform-level support. I work as part of the R&D team, addressing customer-reported issues and ensuring timely delivery of Hotfixes (HF), Patch Packages (PP), and other maintenance updates for Linux-based systems.

My day-to-day responsibilities include managing both physical and virtual Linux environments, performing Linux administration, and automating operational tasks using Bash scripting.

I use Ansible for deployment activities and infrastructure automation, and regularly work on various Linux components, handling triage, patching, and performance tuning.

I am also involved in maintaining accurate operational documentation, planning and implementing patches and upgrades, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal business disruption during system updates. My experience also includes basic usage of Docker and working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platforms, including Errata management.
