I started out as an operator where i learned how to operate all machinery, maintained a clean work environment to ensure safety.
At this time I was able to obtain my cdl license where i learned how to deliver feed and operate the trucks. I moved into the shift lead position where i instructed and lead the swing shift operator and truck drivers. I used this time to learn what goes into feed quality and how to input new formulas and adjust setting required. Started working with the maintenance team to learn how the machinery works. Also worked with WEM and IT to troubleshoot and computer programming issues. I later moved to maintenance where i currently work. Here i have learned to monitor the boilers and water for proper balance. I work on preventative maintenance inspection to prevent unnecessary breakdowns. I have completed CPR and Stop the Bleed training. Also I attended an electrical class where I learned how to troubleshoot and electrical problems that may occur. I currently take the vacuum truck out to farms for feed recovery when needed. I am currently working with the production supervisor to learn how to input the inventory numbers each morning. I enjoy working for this company and would like to continue growing my knowledge.
