Financial Officer
- Prepare a monthly balance sheet, Income statement, Cash and balance with CBO report, financial assets report, non-funded income report, Equity movement report, Average report of balance sheet and off-balance sheet data, and other assets other liabilities breakup and submit them to parent company
- Prepare statement of securities and submit it to parent company
- Insure whatever is required from parent company is met before deadlines
- Working with risk, retail and wholesale department to insure what is submitted to CBO and parent company is accurate
- Providing timely and reliable Daily MIS reporting including Management dashboard and business units reporting by vision system
- Timely preparation of ALCO packs, and minutes
- Prepare Cost of funds report for wholesale and Retail
- Monthly preparation of retail/wholesale Yield and cost of fund analysis
- Preparing the weekly, monthly and quarterly CBO returns
- Submitting monthly, quarterly and annually CBO returns on time, following up with CBO officer’s requirements
- Checking CBO Deadlines, following up other departments for the CBO Returns and validating the reports
- Preparation of Management Committee Meeting presentation
- Working closely with IT team/ external vendors for automation of bank’s reporting
- Preparing and submitting Directorate General of Economic Statistics required reports
- Communicating and insuring the delivery of external auditor’s requirements
- Preparation of annual budget and assistance in formulation of strategy establishing Key Performance Indicators for business and support units (financial only)
- Responsible for business performance reporting through daily dynamic dashboards, monthly, quarterly and annual performance packs
- Analysis of performance versus plan and identification of underperforming areas for timely corrective action
- Analysis and review of daily GL movements specially suspense accounts for ensuring sanctity of data and to reconciliation on timely basis
- Responsible for implementation of a robust financial control framework across functions and business units
- Identify areas of cost reduction and effectively implement with optimal efficiency
- Implementation of ERP Financials system and business intelligence system (Vision)
- Assisted our junior officers with their career development including Performance management, feedback & training
- Establishing revenue assurance function to stop leakage and unaccountable revenue.
