  • Administrative Duties:

  • Planning:
  • Assisting the Principal in developing a shared strategic vision for the improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Assisting the Principal in the preparation of the short and long term plans for the School and plan out their implementation as well as their monitoring.
  • Planning the year’s academic work in consultation with teachers and organizing their meetings periodically.
  • Developing the master timetable of the School with Principal including room assignments, teacher assignments, and School organization etc.
  • Planning for the most effective use of materials, supplies, equipment, facilities, and grounds.
  • Curriculum mapping and instructional programs. Planning out the programme for in-School professional growth of teachers in consultation with the Principal and the higher authorities and organizing seminars, workshops, lectures etc. for the benefit of teachers.
  • Developing & maintaining School emergency plans which include responsibilities in the event of disasters, fights, break-ins, fire, water main breaks, flooding, storms, etc. affecting students/campus.
  • Planning educational excursions and their follow up and preparing periodic medical check-ups of students and further follow up.
  • Organization:
  • Helping Principal in organizing Subject committee meetings and guiding the Subject Coordinators in conduct of these meetings and further follow up.
  • Planning and organizing students’ evaluation programme and assessment of their interests and attitudes, maintaining proper records, examination registers and arrangement of sending progress reports to parents in consultation with Principal.
