Project 1 : Activity Tracker
Description: Activity Tracker is a Web-based application. All Client sites will connect directly to client business network when using this application. This application authenticated through Site Minder communications with Client LDAP services. It is used to track and stored the number or hours (down to the quarter hour) that any given PD employee spends on predefined tasks. The system stores a hierarchical level of projects that the employee will choose from to track their time against. This tracking directly benefits the global PD group by providing to them accurate reports that can be quantifiable measured against pre-identified metrics and goals of the department.
Role and Contribution:
.Managing the Project level hierarchy for different levels of PD employees, so that they can choose from to track store their work time based on their criteria, through Java code and Stored Procedure.
• Responsible to extend more project level, if any enhancement raised by client, by changing the java controller, JSP pages, JavaScript and Stored Procedure.
• Managing and controlling the access and access permission for PD employees, and business, by providing the roles and access through JSP pages and Stored Procedure.
• Created report pages by using Bootstrap, HTML5 and CSS3 and providing the functionality where user can see in FE and download and generate report in excel format.
• Responsible for analyzing & troubleshooting the issues of the application reported by the customer based on severity of issue.
• Coordinating with different teams & clients for resolving the issues related to application.
• Ensured to maintain requirement specification and design specification Error DB (KEDB) & also knowledge documents that includes even the documentation for regular issues & publishing them to team.
• Ensured to communicate to Partners about the on-going development, bug fixes, Service Impacts & also providing the timely updates to the Higher level about the ongoing issues or important Production issues via weekly client meetings.
Project 2 : BARS (Badge Access Request System)
Description:The BARS application will provide an intranet-based web interface and an Oracle database backend for all Badge Access requests and serve the users of all Client Locations and the Security department of all locations.
Role and Contribution:
Creating the tables to maintain the data for users of all client ad their Amgen locations.
• Creating triggers to send the mail notification once any access raised by users, to Manager and Area Owner for review, and the request would be approved or denied based on the access request. • Developed an automation process for reminder mail, creating procedures for sending the reminder mail notification while a New Access request is waiting for the Manager/Area Owner’s approval for 3 or 6 days.
• Creating an Oracle JOB schedule to run these procedures on a daily basis.
