Business Need:
The client required architecture engineering software aligned with Ease of Doing
Business (EODB) and Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP) recommendations
The objective was to streamline the scrutiny and approval process for building plans, in line with government initiatives towards smarter cities and digitization
Tasks Performed:
Collaborate with the client and stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives in aligning with EODB and BRAP recommendations
Define strategies and project plan for aligning the software functionalities with government initiatives towards smarter cities and digitization
Coordinate team activities, assign tasks, and ensure effective communication and collaboration to meet project objectives
Engage with government officials, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of the software solution with EODB and BRAP recommendations
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project, such as regulatory changes, technical complexities, or resource constraints
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users, government officials, and other stakeholders to familiarize them with the software
Solution Proposed:
Proposed the implementation of AutoDCR (Automatic Development Control
Regulations) integrated with a Process Workflow System named 'BPAMS' for building plan scrutiny and approval
The system reads CAD drawings and maps them to development control regulations for approval by authorities
It facilitates the online submission of plans and applications through a single-window system, followed by automatic scrutiny against building regulations and NOC parameters
Features include automated site visit scheduling, inspection checklist filling, scrutiny report generation, and digitally signed approval letters
The system also sends auto-generated
SMS/emails at various stages and provides proposal information online for citizens
MIS reports are generated for tracking and monitoring
Business Outcome:
Accelerated scrutiny and approval process by eliminating manual computations and streamlining workflows
Improved transparency and collaboration among stakeholders, bringing all parties onto a single platform
Enhanced state ranking in EODB by eliminating subjectivity in the approval process and providing clear reasons for approvals or rejections
Oversee supplier and vendor relationships, manage agreements and contracts, and handle SOW and invoicing.
Engage in project kick-off meetings to align expectations and set objectives.
