Project Title: JIRA Reporting Dashboard

In my current position, I'm actively involved in leveraging Power BI to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities. I successfully completed multiple projects, focusing on both project-wise and priority-wise aspects. The projects encompassed addressing incidents (bugs) as well as other issue types, where all non-incident issues were considered as features.

Summary:

Throughout my tenure, I worked on various Power BI projects, each with its specific goals and objectives.

These projects aimed to streamline data visualization, reporting, and analytics processes, ultimately providing actionable insights to stakeholders. I actively collaborated with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

During my projects, I prioritized issues based on two types: incidents (bugs) and other issue types (features).

1. Incident (Bugs): I demonstrated proficiency in identifying and resolving incidents in Power BI. I effectively triaged, diagnosed, and addressed issues to ensure smooth functioning of Power BI dashboards and reports. By promptly investigating and resolving bugs, I minimized disruptions and optimized the overall user experience.

2. Other Issue Types (Features): Apart from incident resolution, I also focused on addressing various other issue types, considering them as features. I actively engaged with stakeholders to gather requirements and implemented Power BI functionalities to meet their specific needs. These features encompassed data modeling, advanced visualizations, data transformations, and report automation, among others. By delivering these features, I empowered stakeholders with enhanced data-driven decision-making capabilities. Overall, my Power BI projects encompassed both incident management and feature development, enabling seamless data analysis and reporting. My expertise in Power BI, combined with effective collaboration skills, allowed me to successfully contribute to the organization's data-driven initiatives.

Project Title: Sales Performance Analysis and Dashboard Creation using Power BI

I undertook a challenging project focused on sales performance analysis and the creation of an interactive dashboard using Power BI. The project aimed to provide actionable insights to the sales team and stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business growth.

The main objective of the project was to analyze sales data, identify trends, and create a comprehensive Power BI dashboard that would visualize key performance metrics for sales analysis.

Scope:
The project encompassed the following key components:

1. Data Collection and Integration:
I collaborated with the IT department and sales team to gather relevant data from various sources, such as CRM systems, Excel spreadsheets, and transactional databases. I utilized Power Query to extract, transform, and integrate the data, ensuring its accuracy and consistency for analysis.

2. Data Modeling and Analysis:
Using Power BI's data modeling capabilities, I designed a robust data model that aligned with the sales team's reporting requirements. I created relationships between different data tables and performed calculations, such as aggregations, measures, and calculated columns, to derive meaningful insights.

3. Visual Dashboard Creation:
Utilizing Power BI's rich visualization features, I designed an intuitive and interactive dashboard that presented sales performance metrics in a user-friendly manner. The dashboard included key elements such as sales trends, regional performance, product analysis, and customer segmentation. I incorporated charts, graphs, and slicers to enable users to filter and drill down into specific data points for deeper analysis.

4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
To ensure optimal performance of the Power BI dashboard, I implemented performance monitoring techniques. I identified and resolved data refresh issues, optimized data loading and query performance, and fine-tuned the dashboard's responsiveness. This enhanced the overall user experience and enabled real-time decision-making.
