Lead and motivated the team and worked closely to plan their careers. 2 of my team members were promoted as senior medical advisors in a span of 2 years. Maintained a very low attrition rate as compared to other teams at Abbott.

• Used critical thinking to build medico-marketing strategies for new product launches.
• Gained extensive knowledge in project management by working with Abbott global team and handling critical projects on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and ambulatory glucose monitoring (AGP).
• Designed BE study protocols and presented to health authorities for seeking approvals. Supported clinical operations and R&D team with the medical expertise in conducting the BE studies, data analysis, CSR development and presentation to health authorities.

• Learnt a new skill of medical writing by personal interest and investment - used it for organizational benefit by developing 2 manuscripts which were published in scientific journals as well as a case-based textbook on Diabetes management which was published by Abbott.

• Supported Diabetes BU and handled Abbott portfolio of Oral Anti-Diabetic (OADs) agents in India - a portfolio of INR 250 CR (approx 30 million USD) .
• Established relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field of endocrinology and Diabetology to gain insights into decision-making and brand strategy development.
• Provided authoritative opinion and expertise to medical-based questions from internal personnel to comply with regulatory requirements. Formulated and implemented innovative medical strategies in diabetes field.
• Offered medical and strategic input to advisory board meetings and created scientific material for Abbott lead CMEs in the field of Diabetology.
