· Synopsis : British Telecom, UK is one of the leading providers of telecom services in Europe. BT had a network access strategy to deliver an integrated intelligent physical inventory system. The goal was to achieve a full ‘end-to-end’ model of network asset connectivity by using an automated planning system. As part of this strategy, the PIPeR (Physical Inventory Planning eRecords) program was initiated to achieve the most cost-effective solution for end-to-end network connectivity. The software used was Micro Station V8 Xm. To achieve this developed an application called TeemNG by using Microstaion and Visualstudio, it is fully customized for this project.

Synopsis : Mobile Radio Network is geographically monitored using Octopus and BIS (Information Overlay System) systems by KPN at the moment. Geoplay project is aimed to replace Octopus & BIS applications with new GIS system and achieve the following: Minimizing / eliminating manual processes involved in loading/copying data on a daily/weekly basis between different systems involved. Unavailability of real-time data to Web-based users and analysts. Gain advantage of additional OOB functionalities available in proposed system. The project aims to implement GIS solution for mobile domain through the ARCGIS solution from ESRI.
