• To facilitate end-to-end new product development process including requirement analysis, Capex and Budgeting, Capacity planning, Feasibility Studies, Process design, Layout planning, Equipment development, conduct PPAP activities and Initial period control for all the Exhaust Gas Manufacturing (EGM) products of the plant
• Drive profitability and competitiveness of the plant through lean and operational excellence initiatives by involving all the local and global cross functional teams
• Develop problem solving culture across the plant by leading the teams and projects through Shainin RedX methodolgy
• Drive initiatives focused on preventive and predictive maintenance to upkeep all the manufacturing assets. Develop new utility systems and procedures to minimize the operational costs of the plant
• To lead Manufacturing Council for one of the EGM products represented by experts from various RU`s to standardize the lessons learned, best practices and manufacturing standards across the reporting units of the BU
• Capacity dashboard to manage global plant capacities across various reporting units aligning with future requirements

• Lead Quality assurance and Manufacturing Engineering functions towards Zero early> Zero defect vision through advanced APQP procedures and systems

• Monitor and ensure adherence of product development procedures as per Global Quality standards

• Devise new procedures for products and processes aligning with Zero defect vision

• Achieve In process Quality, customer Quality, supplier Quality and Field quality metrics through robust QMS improvement initiatives involving plant and global leadership teams

• Drive robust process and product design improvements to enhance the product quality supporting zero defect vision

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering function to create flexible, scalable and modular manufacturing systems aligning with the long range business plan
• Support the plant growth through flawless new product and technology transfer projects
• Technology transition support to meet the new emission norms of BSVI through benchmark studies

• Responsible for developing assembly lines for EGR Coolers, Tubes, Modules and Valves
• Responsible for achieving operational KPI`s such as OEE, FTT, Scrap & Productivity targets
• Responsible for ensuring APQP discipline across all the new projects
• Responsible for process benchmarking and technology transfer from global plants

• Responsible for developing compressor assembly lines with a clean room concept
• Responsible for productivity improvements and quality enhancement initiatives in compressor assembly lines
• Responsible for executing projects through APQP discipline- PFMEA, Control Plan, PFC, Work instructions, etc
• Deployment of corrective and preventive actions for customer concerns
• Capacity planning of compressor assembly lines in line with the business plan

• Responsible for developing assembly lines for Steering systems
• Responsible for the complete new product development including proto sample preparation for DP and PP validation requirements
• Cycle time and Headcount optimization through lean and SWC methodologies
• Responsible for preparation of process documentation such as PFMEA, Control plan, PFC, Work instructions, Line layouts, SWC charts, Process standards, etc
• Responsible for Design for manufacturing and Design for assembly studies involving design and component development teams

• Responsible for new development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of progressive press tools, compound tools, and injection molds for switch gear components
• Preparation of manufacturing drawings and process flow charts for the tool development

• Responsible for the development of Progressive press tools, compound tools, and injection molds for Speedometer products
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues during the initial trials of press tools and injection molds
• Press tool and Injection mold maintenance as part of production support
