The project involves packaging applications using AdminStudio, InstallShield 2020, SCCM, and Intune for a TJX project. Routine activities included packaging, virtualization for Win10, and Win11. All the applications need to be packaged using the Windows Installer technology and distributed to desktops/laptops using the automated distribution mechanism of SCCM. We use Endpoint Management Intune for deployment.

Roles:

Application packaging and deployment.

Responsibility:

• Maintained detailed records of the entire lifecycle of each software package from development through deployment.
• Deployed updates and patches to existing applications as needed via automated means or manual methods.
• Tested application packaging installations to ensure proper functioning of the software.
• Analyzed logs generated during installation or removal of an application package in order to troubleshoot any errors encountered along the way.
• Monitored system performance after application packages have been deployed to verify functionality.
• Ensured compliance with industry standards and best practices when creating application packages.
• Provided support for user requests regarding installation or removal of applications from their systems.
• Identified potential areas of improvement within existing packaging process and implemented solutions accordingly.
• Documented processes related to application packaging and distribution procedures.
• Developed scripts using PowerShell for automation purposes related to application packaging processes.

The project involves packaging applications using AdminStudio installshield 2020 and App-v using App-v 5.1 suite tool for a Dutch multinational banking project ING Group, based in Netherlands. Routine activities included packaging/ virtualization for Win10. All the applications need to be packaged using the Windows Installer technology or App-V, and distributed to desktops/laptops using the automated distribution mechanism of SCCM.

Roles:

Application packager and QA team member.

Responsibility:

Creation/configuration of packages (MSIs, MSTs – 32-bit and 64-bit) and silent switches (wrapper) for legacy setup.

Creation of packages using the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).

· Package automation using VB Script and PowerShell Script.

Creation/Configuration of virtual packages in App-V 5.1.

Validation of existing packages for new builds, and user data handling using desktop personalization and Appsense utility.

I handled packaging setup at offshore being core team member at offshore.

Responsibilities:

· Completed ACT for win 10 for more than 2000 applications.

· Mostly done all kind of complex packages.

· Troubleshooting package related issues like driver packages.

· Conflict resolution of packages in production environment

· Completed almost 100 packages in App-v 5.1

· Completed almost 800 packages for multiple clients like Statoil, DNB, Kone, Alstom, Bombardier Transportation, MSAG, Carlsberg. etc. in this shared project.
