• Review Orders and analyze revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 for multiple revenue streams (SaaS, Perpetual, Term License, SnS, Professional Services, Royalties, Subscription).

VTap Regression Automation Suite

• Automation suite for Regression testing created where standard scenarios will be tested as part of future upgrades and patch releases for RevStream.
• Responsible for testing out all the scenarios and signing off that they are working as expected to eliminate manual testing of the standard scenarios for every future releases.

NRS Implementation Project (ASC 606)

• Part of the Core team that implemented New Revenue Standard - ASC 606 testing out different scenarios and configurations.
• Working closely with Revstream on system upgrades and testing for all future releases.

4-4-5 Project

• Actively participated in testing the system changes and confirming that the schedules were being built using the new logic of 4-4-5(weeks) to align to Dell financial calendar after acquisition and modified the way Revenue schedules are built in the system.

Subscription Delivery Platform had 3 areas – EBS, Aria (Billing platform) and Admin Portal where setups need to be completed. Roles and responsibilities includeded –

• Create SDP SKUs based on PRFs received from Pricing Managers
• Create Aria plans along with all rate cards/price points and map SKUs with their related plans in Admin Portal.
• Complete SKU setups for DEV and QA testing before actual GA date. This included testing different SKU permutations and combinations in multiple lower instances.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to resolve SKU related issues (IT BA, DEV, QA, Informatica, Aria).
• Train new members in Bangalore and Costa Rica on the SDP Process.
• Prepare process documents and share with the team.
• Drive process improvements(automation) and increase performance.

PDH Project

PDH is the source of truth for all SKU related information and multiple cross functional teams integrated into PDH. Responsibilities included -

• Provide business requirements and help with creating FRDs by providing business rules and definitions.
• Participate in UAT testing for GA readiness.
• Traveled to Palo Alto office as testing was being managed from US.
• After go-live, was responsible for future improvements and updates in PDH for both Perpetual and SDP processes.
• Provide training on PDH to the team in Bangalore and Costa Rica.
• Share regular updates on PDH changes to the team globally.

Project Orion

Project Orion directly impacted price book generation process by changing the way discounts were calculated for SKUs published on price books and added few additional steps in our process. Responsibilities included -

• Helped in creating test scripts for UAT testing.
• Participated in UAT testing for validating the new changes.
• Worked with Dev team to automate a part of the process (Adv+ discount application logic) thereby eliminating manual updates (500 SKUs were updated manually every month earlier).
• Worked with Dev team to improve performance for SDP Pricebook program.
• Cleaned up unnecessary programs which were being run in the backend along with changing few business rules.
• Collaborated with MDM team to integrate ORION changes into PDH so that data is in sync with EBS.

SDP Validation tool

• Worked on getting a validation tool for SDP price books to validate all the attributes resulting in publishing error free price books.
• Helped eliminate some of the manual steps which helped save 2+ hours monthly in the price books publication delivery process.
• Led initiative to improve performance for perpetual price books generation program saving 5+ hours every month.

• Work with Product Managers to gather new Product requirements.
• Create new SKUs, bundle components, assign prices and inventory setup.
• Test new SKU setups in different Oracle instances.
• Support minor and major product launches on SKU end.
• Point of escalation for order management and pricing operations calls and issues.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to acquire information for SKU setup.
• Maintain and update process change documents.
• Monthly Quality Audit of data loaded into the system.

Basic role was to assist the SKU Management and Pricing team supporting key strategic and global channel business partners with product launches, order processing, and pricing operations playing a key part in the launch process. Responsibilities included -

• Acquire detailed information specific to product portfolios with regards to new product launches and manage SKU/inventory set ups, Bill of Materials, item relationships in Oracle 11i, ensure product configurations are done correctly and work in the advanced pricing module to setup discounts, modifiers, etc.
• Maintain pricing for the company’s product portfolio as per the Product Management’s instructions.
• Generate price lists with the updated prices and share it with the partners and distributors.
• Quality control - Responsible for maintaining the quality of the price books being published.
• Working with cross functional teams as well as partners and distributors for any queries on the price changes.
• Responsible for preparing and updating process documents and process flows.

I was part of a critical process that primarily focused on working closely with sales teams globally and assist them in revenue related activities for our massive partner / customer base. Responsibilities included -

• Deal with contracts and licenses of the top customers of VMware and looking into their specific requirements with regards to pricing and discounts converting them to quotes.
• End to end process management including process improvements and documentation.
• Process Training - Providing training to the new hires locally & globally.
• Preparing call lists for the global sales teams wherein revenue opportunities are pro-actively highlighted and this exercise is done a quarter in advance.
• Working with the sales team to resolve any pending issues/escalations for renewals.
• Organizing and attending monthly calls with the sales team wherein the sales team provided feedback on the quality of quotes going out and how the partners felt about doing business with VMware.

As part of Service Contract Management ream, responsibilities included -

• Manage contracts for customers from inception till the expiration which included creation of new contracts, renewal of contracts, creating and updating customer addresses, creating, and converting quotes into contracts.
• Responsible for preparing performance Reports & Analysis, Weekly Billing Reports.
• Conducting Team Huddles, One-to-One sessions, Shift and Floor Management.
• Attending weekly calls with GPE and follow up on the MOM’s.
• Performing Quality Audits and Deep Dives.
• Handled a team of 7 members on dotted line. Responsible for their productivity, quality, and overall performance.
