• Co-ordinate and monitor all T&C activities including Executing approved dynamic plans, Track access Permits etc
• Safely manage and monitor train movements for Signaling, RST, COMM for testing on mainline and Depot
• Organize and coordinate site logistics activities for Work Trains (WT) and RRV movements and prepare test site for major testing activities in coordination with LEC, PO, WAD, TS, LOTO etc
• Assisting in review of PTW in the perspective of Dynamic plan and ensuring works are carried without impacting testing, violating safety and integrity of system
• Manage train testing zone clearance process, ensure appropriate resources are available for testing
• Monitoring LSP, PSCADA, FSCADA/TVCS/PSD/ACIDS/ATS Alarms and escalate to concern department during failure or abnormalities
• Direct, instruct, assign and assist Test train pilots, PO, LEC, LOTO in relevant procedures and main point of contact for all the activities
• Single point of contact during incidents, breakdowns, derailments, rescues to escalate to concern departments, HSE etc
• Accurate record maintaining of all the activities and logging incidents with related to safety or operations
• The Access Planning Office will provide the details of the route and schedule required for the RRV movements for the operations/testing and grant access permits accordingly
• Possession Officer should ensure safe operation and execution of the works on site according to the schedule of work assigned by the Access Planning Office
• In case unavoidable circumstances happen, which requires changes to the scheduled movement for the Train operations/testing
• Manage and coordinate all activities across the network including OCC, Depot and Station
• Ensure clear and direct communication and coordination with all the shunter, Points Coordinators, Train Drivers and Depot train Coordinator
• Ensure clear and direct communication and coordination with the Lead Electrical Controller to obtain LOTO or HV isolation prior to work on a section of track according to the HV isolation LOTO procedures
• Possessions Officers are the eyes and ears of the Temporary Operations Team and are essential to ensure safe
• Responsible for safe access and egress of the track area
• Follow the Planned T&C activities and liaison with Installations as per the access dates to meet the key dates & milestones
• Track access/egress control and the supervision of multiple Works at different track permits and during their daily permits
• Brief the track stewards regularly, assess their performance and competencies
• Sweep the mainline with auxiliary vehicle and ready the track area for the safe train testing UTO movements and third rail energization
• Ensure safe and smooth train testing activities in depot and mainline
• Perform Manual Point Operation and secure the switch points, authorize the train movements when degraded situations
• Placing and removing of earthing devices on the mainline and depot for allowing track side work activities
• Closely monitor the trackside work activities and ensure safety all times
• Possession Officers must always follow and apply the strict operational and safety procedures
• Track Possession officers will also be responsible for onsite safe train or vehicle movements
• Conduct the personal track safety (PTS) training for all workers and work party supervisors
• Coordinate with planning team and authorize the planned works under his jurisdiction

• Train Control System during normal & abnormal scenarios
• Expertise Knowledge of Thales CBTC & Solid
• Experienced in handling of ATS (Automatic train supervision) Operations, Taking prompt decisions during operations contingency
• Post installation check out of way side equipment's such as Signals, point machines, Axel Counters, transponder tags, Proximity plate, WRU & indoor equipment's Such as FEC (Field Equipment Controller) etc
• Manages failures on the train and signaling system, regulate traffic using relevant procedures and resume normal operation as quickly as practicable
• Supervise & Controls Automatic Train Control System during normal & abnormal scenarios
• Complete knowledge about Standard Operating procedures pertaining to Train operation, Station operation, OCC Operation & Depot operation
• Review of Standard Operating procedures & provide valuable comments for smooth operations
• Complete knowledge about Metro General Rules to ensure the compliance
• Coordinates with maintenance teams (works, track work, power supply, overhead line) and planning cell to prepare all the maintenance works to be done on the lines/station/depots during night (maintenance/power blocks)
• Coordinates with Other controllers for all field works (permits to work granted by Chief controller) especially the ones that need power blocks
• Empty Trail run and RAMS execution
• Ensuring preventive maintenance as per laid down guidelines and schedules of maintenance
• Liaison with local authorities like Fire Brigade, Police, Ambulance whenever the situation demands
• Handling Degraded / Emergency situations
• Operate and control all Electrical Panels (MDB, EMDB, SDB, VACDB, UPS O/G, S&T UPS, DG, FIRE MCC, and LIGHTING Panels), Dampers, Exhaust and fresh air fans, Domestic and Fire pump room equipment by manually and remotely through Building Management System (BMS)
• Providing information using PAS/PIDS system
• Ensuring Safe, Smooth, Scheduled and Energy Efficient Operation of the trains as per regulations
• Extensive knowledge about Vehicle on board system (VOBC, MRU, TIU, TOD, Accelerometer, Speed Sensor Proximity sensors etc.) & Way side control system (ZC, IM, ATS, SRS, Axle Counters, Transponder Tags etc.)
• Capable of carrying out Static & Dynamic Post installation Check out of both Vehicle On-Board Control System
• Participating in training & refresher courses; well versed in the troubleshooting of the train on board systems, Standard Operating Procedures; practical handling of train and acquire the expected level of competence
• Involvement in Conducting Operations Readiness Test, Empty Trial Run & RAMS demonstration to prove the system Fit & Safe
• Preparation of progress reports pertaining to T&C activity and representing it to management weekly
• Finalizing Pre & Post T&C plans with vendors & chasing/follow-up the same for timely completion of activity
• Respond to the malfunctions in train, ensure their efficient management and clear the blockage on the mainline within least possible time

• Responsible to provide support for Overall operation of the MLRT project and monitoring of LRV movements
• Control and responsible for the safe and smooth train operations depot and mainline
• Coordination with other operation controllers (Traffic/Fault Controller/Traction/Communication officer) for smooth LRV revenue operations by ensuring safety
• As per the testing plan prepare the trains and operate the train movements from ATS
• Driven and completed the various component tests for the trains with test leader
• Liaison with External Emergency services (Fire/Police/Ambulance) in case any in need during revenue services
