Projects Profile

Project 1:

Title : COMMAND GUIDANCE UNIT

Client : BDL, HYDERABAD.

Description: It is a subsystem in AKASH missile system. It is a air bourne unit. It provides communication between RADAR and Akash missile system. It receives the coded interrogation pulses and the coded command pulses from the ground radar through an X-Band Receiver. It responds to the interrogation pulses through a C-Band transmitter. The commands received from the ground are stored in FIFO, before they are downloaded into On-Board Processor.

The command guidance unit consists of.1.antennas a)X-Band antenna for Reception b)C-Band Antenna for Transmission.2.Dual channel X-Band Receiver,3.C-Band Transmitter for giving response Pulse 4.Digital Data processing circuit 5.Power supply unit.

Project 2 :

Title : MMDRPS (Multimission Metrological data Receiving and Processing system)

Customer: Indian Metrological department, New Delhi.

Description: The Multi Mission Meteorological Data Receiving and Processing System (MMDRPS) is an end-to-end solution envisaged to receive, process, archive and disseminate meteorological data transmitted by the Satellites of INSAT-3D, INSAT-3DR and INSAT-3DS (yet to be launched) (Sounder/Imager/DRT). The system is envisaged to acquire raw data from the serial streams, process it and generate various quantitative products from the processed data for operational utilization.

Project 3 :

Title: Control unit

Client:BEL,Ghaziabad.

Description: It is a sub system in Aslesha and Bharani RADAR system.Central Unit is a part of Active Array Antenna System. It consists of DDS based Exciter, Six channel Receiver for five receive beams and SLB,Up converter, one six channel Receiver board, one Signal Processor board, Power PC as Radar controller and Data processor, Status monitoring board and IFF transceiver units. It also houses power supply Module which generates the required DC Voltages to the sub-modules located in the Centr;il Unit. Necessary DC Voltages are derived from +24V DC, using DC-DC Converters housed in this module.

Project 4:

Title: C-Band TRiM

Client:ISRO(SAC),Ahamadabad

Description:

Microwave remote sensing satellites are being developed for civilian use under Indian remote sensing program; built, launched and maintained by ISRO. Under this development activity, we are in process of developing a C-Band Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR).

Flight Model(FM) C-Band Transmit Receive Integrated Modules (TRiMs) are required for the development of active antenna for this SAR sensor. Each C-Band TRiM consists of one pair of Transmit Receive Module (TRM) (for V & H polarization) and Transmit Receive Controller (TRC), integrated in a single package. SAC has plan for indigenous design and development of these TRiMs; wherein design would be done by SAC whereas assembly and characterization would be through indigenous industry.

Each C-Band TRiM consists of

i. C-Band LTCC Module (for V & H polarization)

ii. LNA Module

iii. High Power Amplifier MMIC Package

1v. Transmit Receive Controller
