  • Worked on the Oracle EBS R12 interface to connect various downstream systems, including Kronos, Looker, data warehouse, FloQast, Gappify, and Hyperion, as well as upstream systems like Taleo.
  • Development of OAF pages from scratch; for example, we created the Philippines Payslip page from scratch, enabling self-service capabilities for 25,000 users. We also provided self-service capabilities for the Certificate of Employment and implemented and customized various OAF CO and VO extensions.
  • Worked on upgrading our system from R12.1.3 to R12.2.12.
  • Oracle workflow customizations to auto-approve any journal between -$2,500 and +$2,500, and HRSS Workflow Customizations to send termination details to the Human Capital team.
  • Executed rollouts for various countries, including Malaysia, Honduras, and Egypt, on financial modules (GL, AP, AR, I-expense, I-procurement, Cash Management, Fixed Assets).
  • Customized the AR SLA rules by adding additional SLA lines and selecting different accounts based on the journal line description.
  • Performed performance tuning on concurrent programs and reports using the explain plan, and employed advanced collection (BULK COLLECT) to improve performance at the PL/SQL level by minimizing context switching.
  • Developed notification programs to send specific AR open invoices with attachments to FCR customers, as well as to send all recently approved, canceled, and revised POs to the procurement team. Additionally, implemented workflow notifications in case the workflow mailer is down.
  • Developed several alerts within the system to notify relevant parties about database password rotations and to inform them of contractor end dates, ensuring effective terminations on the agreed date and preventing overbilling.
  • We have focused on enhancing an organization's data security, particularly through a credit card encryption project, where we tested all end-to-end scenarios. On the database side, we ensured that all passwords were rotated in accordance with SOX audit requirements. We collaborated with the DBA to enable PII level 1 auditing at the database level, established individual database accounts instead of relying on a common account for improved security and tracking, and eliminated public database links, creating only private database links.
  • Mentored developers through regular 1-on-1 meetings, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and career growth opportunities.
  • Coordinated with cross-department teams like the Automation team, the Bot team, the Kronos team, and the Datawarehouse teams, and Support to ensure a seamless end-to-end software delivery process.

  • In ADP, I work on internal projects, and our on-site team is located in New Jersey, USA.
  • I have implemented various customizations based on business needs using OAF, workflows, shell scripting, forms, interfaces, conversion, and PL/SQL, and developed multiple XML, RTF, XLS, and e-text-based reports. I created the ADP Black Line Outbound Interface using UTL_FILE to reconcile data with the Black Line external system.
  • I developed the OAF page to load data from the desktop and process it into the interface table, while transferring journals to GL. This enhancement allows users to simply browse for the file on their desktop and click submit, improving the user experience compared to the previous method of placing the file at SFTP and logging into the Windows app.
  • I modified all components (shell scripting, RDF reports, XML publisher, packages) to accommodate period changes.
  • I worked on the development of PDF, E-Text, .xls, and Excel reports.
  • I also developed shell scripting to create a utility program for emailing with attachments, FTP, SFTP, processing multiple inbound files, and creating directories on the server.
  • Additionally, I developed the ADP Inbound GL Interface to load expense-related information by integrating with the Spend Management System (SMS) in GL.
  • Developed a Business Event and established a Subscription Package within the standard 'Journal Import' Program to populate the DFF values according to business requirements.

Accomplishments

  • Upgraded the Oracle application system from R12.1.3 to R12.2.12.
  • Recently, we encountered an issue with the Philippine pay slip after upgrading from 12.1.3 to 12.2.12. Users are seeing crisscross data, displaying information from other payslips. We have identified the root cause and redesigned the entire Philippine pay slip in the custom top, adding additional security features, including a toggle button. The issue is resolved, which has saved the company from potential legal and financial implications.
