Windows Server Administration

Having good knowledge and experience on Windows Servers Operating Systems versions 2012/2012 R2/2016/2019 and 2022 and ISO image files.

Having experience on creating new Virtual Machines,configuration, maintenance smooth working, monthly patches update, OS upgrade etc.

Also having experience on maintaining systems hardware, tracking performance, tracking logs, troubleshooting operating system issues etc.

Familiar with Windows Cluster services, printers management, disk/storage management, TCP/IP model, network fundamentals.

Knowledge on Hyper-v, windows Server Core Operating system, Powershell, monitoring tools like Solar Winds.

Experience on SCCM to deploy patches and applications on large number of systems.

Providing the L1/L2 support and meeting the SLAs for the issues reported by the application teams and customers.

Active Directory Administration

Good knowledge and experience on Active Directory services like Domain Controllers, DNS, ADDS,DHCP, Group Policy, AD Replication.

Create and manage user accounts and permissions.

Working with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems and applications.

Provide technical support to users of Active Directory

Creating and maintaining the access rights to various network drives.

Basic knowledge on Azure AD.

VMware

Knowledge on multiple vSphere versions.

Familiar with vCenter,vMotion,DRS, HA.

Experience on creating/deploying new VMs from templates and templates to VMs, cloning existing VMs and templates.

Maintaining snapshots of VMs before and after upgrade activities.

Experience on ESXi hosts, migration, datastores, virtual hardware configuration and maintenance.

Basic knowledge on SAN.

Experience in backup and recover of Virtual machines in VMware.

Good knowledge on other virtualisation platforms like Hyper-V, MS-Azure.

Other Skills

Certified in ITIL Foundation.

Good knowledge on ITSM platform like ServiceNow.

Certified in Windows Server 2019 Administration, VMware vSphere.

Good knowledge on monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
