  • Company Overview: Client: Renault, Qualcomm. Project: Automotive FOTA Application & ADAS AVP Perception Application.
  • FOTA: Firmware/software updates through Firmware Over the Air (FOTA) and can subscribe to features/configurations based on the requirement of the fleet management.
  • AVP Perception Application: Automotive Visualization Perception Application accumulates the camera data and stores in different containers such as road objects, traffic lights, light source information, moving objects information, road symbols and sensor information etc. This data will be processed and mapped to different client structures and transferred to clients via SOMEIP and used to process data for ADAS application like AHL (Automotive High Low Beam).
  • Worked on ASIL safety requirement in AUTOSAR, Fixed MISRA, CERT and HIS Metrics for the classic software components in FOTA module.
  • Worked on creating new DID for the reset mechanism of the software update.
  • Fixed critical system DTC indicator malfunction issue in FOTA and got good exposure on Trace 32 LTB debugging.
  • Worked on making files, patch file injections for the release/production build activities in BSP OS module.
  • Visited Client onsite office in France, Toulouse area for a month on business visa as part of project hardware ramp up and FOTA software update trainings.
  • Worked on Gliwa T1 application integration in BSP OS module, gained good knowledge about the EB stack connections from RTE, BSW and COM. It is used for checking CPU Load.
  • Worked on ploy space warnings which is another ASIL safety level requirement for Energy Management module.
  • Gained good understanding on Git, GitLab CICD and yaml files.
  • Worked on AHL Interface development which decides the High Beam Lights to turn high or low.
  • Have designed and developed AHL interface along with two team members. Guided team members to develop the given subtasks as part of the development, testing it on hardware and helped in developing test framework using Gtest for the AHL feature to test.
  • Worked on code quality issues with helix QAC and implemented test framework using Gtest and code optimization for interfaces.
  • Gained good knowledge and hands experience of AUTOSAR and ADAS.
  • Had communication with clients wherever it is needed to gather/provide information on development activities.
