Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Board, senior leadership, and CFO to drive business growth.
- Partner with leadership teams to ensure strategic decision-making, backed by data-driven financial insights.
- Assess financial risks, and implement strategies for mitigation and operational resilience.
- Lead the FP&A team, aligning financial objectives with corporate strategy.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Spearhead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to align with the company's strategy.
- Develop and analyze financial models, KPIs, and business performance metrics to drive operational efficiency.
- Lead financial reporting, generate standalone and consolidated annual reports in compliance with the Companies Act.
Accounting, Compliance, and Regulatory Oversight:
- Oversee accounting policies & procedures for Revenue recognition, Reconciliations, Period end activities, AR and AP management
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and internal controls (in India and partially in the US).
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, RBI submissions, FEMA, and corporate governance.
- Supervise statutory audits, regulatory filings, and tax planning in collaboration with auditors and consultants.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate taxation, GST, and financial regulations impacting businesses.
- Coordinate and represent the company in matters of income tax, GST, PF, ESI, DGCEI, ROC, and other government agencies against notices, assessments, and appeals, both solely and in consultation with consultants and auditors.
- Implement risk management policies, and strengthen internal financial controls to prevent fraud and inefficiencies.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Optimize cash flow and working capital for financial stability, and draw a balance between business operations and fund management.
- Lead banking relationships, investment strategies, funding arrangements, and CMA preparations.
- Develop and implement currency risk mitigation strategies.
Operational Finance & Cost Optimization:
- Drive financial discipline across procurement, supply chain, and vendor management.
- Partner with HR, Presales, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to optimize pricing, profitability, and revenue operations.
- Monitor project-based financial planning, cost analysis, and cash flow for business ventures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies through rigorous financial analysis.
- Through the evaluation of tender details, analyze costing, and participate in sales tenders.
Team Leadership and Digital Transformation:
- Lead and mentor high-performing finance and accounting teams.
- Drive automation and process improvements in financial reporting, billing, and compliance.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Other Areas:
- Coordinate and assist HR, process payroll, and review fund and payment processing with zero errors.
- Lead generation and distribution of Form 16 and 16A's in respect of tax deductions.
- Drive automation and process improvements in financial reporting, billing, and compliance.
