- Over 22 years of Aviation Training experience on ground as well as in air as a Qualified Navigation Instructor (QNI) in Indian Air Force.
- About 6000 hours of Instructional and Operational flying experience on HS-748, AN-32, IL-76, IL-78 & AWACS aircraft as a Flight Navigator.
- Nominated as Air Force Examiner entrusted with periodic professional grading of aircrew for over 3 years.
- Was actively involved in acceptance, induction and formulation of SOPs of the newly inducted AWACS aircraft in 2009.
- Was responsible for route planning of all IAF aircraft participating in Exercise Cooperative Cope-Thunder in Alaska, USA, in 2004.
- Conducted in-depth psychological and behavioral assessments of candidates desirous of becoming commissioned officers in the Indian Air Force, as an interviewing officer.
- Evaluated over 3,200 candidates and selected officers based on leadership qualities, cognitive skills, and operational aptitude.
- Trained officers in selection methodologies, interviewing techniques and psychological assessment standards.
- Entrusted with the responsibility of raising an Air Force Selection Board in Guwahati and designated as its first President.
