  • Company Overview: Dharampal Satyapal Limited is a flag ship Company of renowned D. S. Group, having its presence in various sectors such as Pan Masala, Processed Tobacco, Perfumery, Hospitality, Dairy Products, a range of spices under the Brand Name Catch, confectionery products, warehousing operations with state-of-the-art technology in North East. The company has set up its production facilities in Noida, Himachal Pradesh, Guwahati and Agartala.
  • Over all supervision of accounts department of all the units of DS Group in Guwahati.
  • Preparation of fund- center wise and cost-center wise financial budget after compiling data from all the departments and units and finalizing the overall master budget for the organization, analyzing the variances and suggesting the measures for effective cost reduction and cost control.
  • Preparation of monthly MIS of all verticals of Guwahati Units, product analysis and evaluating the performance as compared to previous periods.
  • Evaluating, planning and establishing the stringent checks and internal controls so as to ensure regulatory compliances, enhance operational efficiency, and accuracy in financial reporting and manage risks in proactive manner.
  • Representing the all the Units of North East Region in GST Department hearings and preparation of relevant data for filing GST Returns such as GSTR1, GSTR 3B and the Annual GST returns.
  • Ensuring Timely filing and realizing the Capital Subsidy Claims under North East Industrial Development Scheme (NEIDS)’ 2017.
  • Instrumental as a Core Team member in coding and implementing the SAP S/4 Hana in various modules of all the units of DSL Guwahati.

The Holostik India Ltd. is presently catering to the requirements of all the major companies and various Government Departments and Public Sector undertakings and banks.
  • Over all supervision of accounts and material management function, asset classification and control of two flag ship units situated at Pantnagar, establishing and implementing the proper internal checks, both system checks and physical controls.
  • Interaction with the various Govt Department such as SIDCUL, Pollution, DIC, banks, Sales Tax, Central Excise, Electricity Directorate, Labor Department etc. for obtaining various sanctions and renewals, follow up for subsidy, assessments.
  • Leading role in obtaining ISO Certification for 9001, 14001 as core team member for Quality Standard and Human safety.
  • Hands on experience of FI-CO and MM module of SAP R/3 at both the Units at Pant Nagar.
  • Responsible for preparing MIS for the Company’s Review Meeting and suggesting measures for Cost reduction.

This professionally managed group is engaged in the manufacturing of various consumer products like, Tulsi Zarda, Rajni Gandha Pan Masala, Pass-Pass Mouth Freshener, Tulsi Mix Gutkha and a range of spices and spring and flavored water under the brand name ‘Catch’. The company has set up its production facilities in Noida, Himachal Pradesh, Guwahati and Agartala.
  • Over all supervision of accounts department of all the units at Barotiwala in Himachal Pradesh.
  • The Core function there included the execution of Commercial Activities, interacting with Govt. authorities such as D.I.C, Pollution, Central Excise, Excise & Taxation Department, P.F. & E.S.I. department, Town & Country Planning etc.
  • To facilitate timely submission of monthly MIS such as Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account, Customers’ & Vendors’ evaluation reports, Product-wise cost analysis, analysis of variances and the report of Statutory Compliances.
  • Besides finalizing the Balance Sheet for Himachal Units, I was given the additional responsibilities for completing the Balance Sheets of company’s Six Units at Guwahati & Four Units at Agartala involving a turnover of over Rs. 700.00 Crore.

The group had established a chain of prestigious Departmental Stores in the name of ‘SGM’, and is also engaged in the manufacturing of cotton yarn out of cotton waste.
