Role Responsibilities
This position is responsible to maintain the systems and equipments in power plant for ensuring smooth and trouble free operation of the plant in order to produce uninterrupted power supply. Supervise & execute all maintenance activities for smooth operation of Power Plant for supplying uninterrupted power to business units. Scheduling the preventive maintenance of the power plant and procurement of material for maintenance jobs. Planning and execution of shut down jobs. Control over time by proper scheduling the shift maintenance activities and reduction of contractor manpower by training the workman. Identify and execute projects for improvement (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, WCM) and ensure statutory compliance. Operate and maintain the plant in cost effective manner to minimize cost of power generation.
