  • Demarcation of offshore wind potential blocks & supported for preparation in Offshore strategy document.
  • Offshore Wind 4 GW activities (Preparation of RFS & Clearance protocols like Stage-1 & II)
  • Offshore studies and surveys covering Integrated Floating Lidar together with Oceanographic sensors (Wave, Current etc.,) and Geo-physical & Geo-technical Investigations activities for 500MW model A under VGF scheme in Gulf of Mannar at Sub Zone 01, off TamilNadu coast.
  • Working closely with DEA, Denmark for different work packages under the INDEP Bilateral Energy Sector Cooperation between India & Denmark covering FIMOI, MSP, Grid Planning, Port Infrastructure assessment & Capacity building.
  • Working closely with UK FCDO for Environmental Impact Assessment studies to cover 14 identified offshore zones at Gulf of Mannar, Off TamilNadu coast & EIA studies for National Offshore Testing Facility at Dhanuskodi.
  • Wind & Solar measurement campaign across the country under the National measurement program & Handling Met-mast, LIDAR & SODAR instruments.
  • Preparation of State Wise Micro Level Wind Atlas for India and also identified 66GW newer sites to achieve ambitious Target.
  • Supporting Re-powering & Refurbishment of existing projects and preparation of Re-powering map. Interacted with various SNA/state departments to collate the existing wind turbine information. Supporting with Wind Re-powering Committee (WRC) in line with policy.
  • Prepared MOD zone map for wind potential regions to get NOC as per the direction of MNRE & MOD for the benefit of the stakeholders.
  • Involved various consultancy projects such as DPR, verification procedure of wind mast, Optimized microsting layout and Estimation of Annual Energy Production (AEP) etc., and supported more than 30GW as against the 45GW of wind projects across the country.
  • Involved International projects under Line of Credit (LOC) for Cuba. Also, supported Srilanka, Vietnam & African countries.
