Testing Approach: Manual and Automation

Domain: Logistics and Carriers

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Requirement Understanding based on each release user stories, Irise Models.
• Interaction with client for functional requirements, test case walkthrough and approvals, debugging failed scenarios.
• Test case creation based on the scenarios identified during test plan creation.
• Attend Agile ceremonies, create requirement matrix, monthly bug matrix, defect tracking and status reporting
• Test case execution - functional, regression, integrated, automated and Acceptance Testing.
• Requirement Analysis and identifying automatable test cases for the Script generation.
• Report analysis, log bugs, and track the bugs from time to time.
• Give Knowledge transfer to the new joiners of the team and helping them in getting acquainted with the project.
• Flexibly worked on multiple applications within the project at the same time, as needed.
• worked as a Team Lead on one of the applications and received very good feedback from the client for On time delivery and Zero Escalations.

Domain: Telecommunications

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyzed Functional Requirements Specification (FRS) documents, and created test scenarios.
• Create and execute test cases to perform functional testing.
• Tested various end-to-end scenarios in the web application.
• Categorized defects based on severity and priority.
• Tools used are SQL Developer, T-Portal (Testing Tracker).
