- I was honored to be selected and awarded as one of the top 25 EDUSTAR nominees out of 210 nominations received nationwide by 'TeachersHelpTeachers.' This prestigious recognition was given by an online support community for educators, which also serves as a curated platform for educational resources and career opportunities.
-I had the privilege of being selected as a Leader from CISV India, representing my country alongside four 10-year-old children in Stockholm, Sweden, from June 17th to July 7th, 2022. CISV is a non-political, volunteer organization dedicated to promoting peace education and cross-cultural friendship in over 69 countries worldwide. During this four-week program, which included delegations from Germany, USA, Portugal, Indonesia, Sweden, and Norway, we collaborated as leaders to plan activities centered around CISV's themes and values of equality, sustainability, and peace. By fostering cultural respect and self-awareness, we aimed to empower participants to embrace these values and become global citizens striving for a more peaceful world. CISV's affiliation with UNESCO further emphasizes its commitment to global cooperation and I am grateful to have been part of this impactful summer camp experience.
